This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using the PostMonk platform. All users must comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. General Principles

PostMonk is designed to help marketing agencies manage social media content professionally and efficiently. You must use PostMonk responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of service of each connected social media platform.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use PostMonk to create, store, schedule, or publish content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activities
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or encourages violence
  • Contains sexually explicit material involving minors
  • Promotes terrorism, extremism, or self-harm
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent)
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or other malicious content
  • Is deliberately misleading, deceptive, or constitutes fraud
  • Violates any individual's right to privacy
  • Contains personal data of individuals who have not consented to its use

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use PostMonk to:

  • Spam: Send bulk unsolicited messages, comments, or connection requests
  • Automated abuse: Exploit PostMonk's automation features to circumvent platform rate limits or create inauthentic activity
  • Account manipulation: Create fake social media accounts, inflate follower counts, or engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Data scraping: Use PostMonk to collect or scrape personal data from social media platforms beyond what is authorized by their APIs
  • Platform evasion: Circumvent bans, suspensions, or restrictions imposed by social media platforms
  • Unauthorized access: Attempt to access other users' PostMonk accounts or data
  • Reverse engineering: Decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any part of the PostMonk platform
  • Reselling: Resell, sublicense, or provide PostMonk access to unauthorized third parties

4. Platform Compliance

When using PostMonk to publish content to connected social media platforms, you must comply with each platform's terms of service and community guidelines:

PostMonk is not responsible for content decisions made by users. However, we reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that repeatedly violate platform guidelines.

5. AI Content Generation

When using PostMonk's AI Studio:

  • You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing
  • AI-generated content must not be used to mislead audiences about its origin where disclosure is required by law or platform policy
  • You must not use AI Studio to generate any content that falls under the "Prohibited Content" section above
  • You retain responsibility for ensuring AI-generated content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or activity on PostMonk that violates this policy, please report it to [email protected]. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • A warning with a request to correct the violation
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Removal of offending content
  • Permanent termination of your account
  • Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases of severe or urgent violations.
